About the job:

Kent is seeking a Project Manager with strong Refining & Petrochem experience for a project in Port Arthur, TX.

Expectations:

• Knowledgeable on Project Management thru Gate Process, US Engineering standards, best practices, and regulation applicable to projects.
• Ability to collect field data and organize field visits with 3rd party contractors in compliance with site Safety rules and in an autonomous manner upon familiarization with the site
• To work autonomously, from project request providing project objective, justification, and proposed solution/scope to FID/EPC gate for Development Group (we are not looking an Intern to hold by the hand and teach everything)
• Autonomous work, from project SOW and FEED deliverables upon FID thru EPC until hand-over to operations including MOC and PSSR (we’re looking field experience, management of contractors, EPC contract, conflict solver)
• Become familiar with the Site’s Electronic Document Control System (EDMS) and with client Specifications, corporate and site specifics within 30 days of start
• Develop client project documentation as follows:

(1) SOR – Statement of Requirements (what, when and how much)

(2) SOW – Scope Of Work

(3) RFP – Technical Request for Proposal of Engineering Services and Field Construction

(4) TBT – Technical Bid Tabs

(5) MOC – Management of Change

(6) PSSR – Process & Safety Start-up Review

(7) Reporting – Progress and Cost, Actual vs Plan

Responsibilities:

• Organize kick-off meeting and scope clarification with 3rd party on the field,
• Teamwork with client Field Construction Coordinator: Work Permit, Job Hazzard Analysis, Field Safety Audits, Tie-ins location, LO-TO, Staging of personnel, material and equipment on the field,
• Manage scope change and control cost
• Manage interface between different disciplines/construction contractors
• Organize project follow up meeting with Asset Owner (operations, process, HSE) and with 3rd party engineering and field construction supplier vii) Report project status and request approval of decisions to Project Management & Construction Supt. on bi-weekly basis.
